02 Field note
How the room is composed
- layout
- Open rooms are divided by freestanding screens, podiums, and colour-blocked zones rather than permanent walls.
- materials
- Plastic laminate, terrazzo, lacquer, tubular metal, printed textiles, glass, and brightly painted composite board.
- furniture
- Asymmetrical cabinets, totemic shelving, chunky tables, and playful seating reject conventional silhouettes.
- lighting
- Graphic floor lamps, exposed globes, neon-like accents, and sharply coloured shades behave as objects.
- decoration
- Squiggles, grids, dots, diagonals, and toy-like sculptures layer pattern at deliberately clashing scales.
